I have no words

This is the most beautiful picture I think I have ever seen. If you’re a longtime, hardcore Korn fan like me, you’ll get it. If not, I can’t even tell you. Just…it’s been a long seven years without him, and I think the first step has been taken to him finally coming back home.

The emotion on Jonathan Davis’s face just kills me. That does it, I have GOT to write this rock star book burning in my brain. :)

*sniffle*

God, I love these guys.

I don’t know the story behind the picture but it’s very emotional.

Yeah, it’s a long story. Maybe I can explain now that I’m not so emotional myself. :p Back in 2005, the guitarist Brian “Head” Welch left the band suddenly. Apparently he’d hit rock bottom on drugs and turned to Christianity, but he wouldn’t talk to any of the guys in the band. He ran to the media, he wrote a book, but none of them spoke to each other for six years. Some bad things were said publicly and drama frequently broke out. As close as they all seemed, it just broke our hearts. I admit I was really pissed at him for the way he went about things.

A year ago, though, we started hearing that they’d all begun to reconnect. There have been speculations about a reunion, but Head has his own band now and won’t really commit. But last Saturday night, they were all at the same music festival in North Carolina, and he came out on stage with them to play one of their old classics. This picture was taken right afterward. There were many tears of joy to see them reunite. :)

So, like I said, we’re hoping it was the first of many steps to him coming back! I think the picture says 1000 words about how the rest of the guys in the band would feel about it. *sigh*

I was there and it was amazing! You could definitely feel the emotions of the band and the crowd. It was a truly wonderful experience! I love your books, and I can’t wait for Ghost and Macy’s! :)

Thank you, Madison, and WOW, I’m jealous! Would have LOVED to be in that crowd. I’m sure I would’ve bawled my eyes out.
